How to Stake LUNA

Use the Terra Station to stake LUNA to the Interstake One validator

Click on the Settings icon on the right top

Ensure that “Mainnet” network is selected

Click “Stake” from the navigation bar on the left

Go to the “Manual Stake” tab

Type Interstake One in the search bar or scroll down and find Interstake One validator manually and click on the validator

Click the “Delegate” button

Specify the amount of LUNA you would like to stake and click “Submit”

Enter your password and confirm the transaction

Delegation is one of the blockchain functions that makes tokens locked for a certain period of time (until the moment of unbond tokens from staking), and also these tokens are not transferred to a third party. So when you send tokens to staking, you are still their full owner.
Staking rewards come from transaction fees and inflation. Each block (~7 seconds) generates a certain amount of LUNA — this is called network inflation, it is distributed among the stakers.
